Booth & Associates is seeking a Project Engineer I to assist in various engineering tasks under close supervision. The role involves supporting the development of plans, specifications, and substation designs, while also providing direction to team members and interacting with customers and vendors.

Responsibilities

Assist in development of plans, specifications and inspection reports
Assist in preparation of material lists and labor contracts
Assist with preparation of substation designs and construction drawings
Basic administration of material purchases and construction contracts
Provide direction to designers, CAD operators on candidate’s assigned team
Small degree of customer and vendor interaction
Some proficiency in single area of substation engineering such as physical layout design, protection/control design, relay settings programming, field support, substation commissioning, relay testing
Performs basic functions of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Must interface well with employees at all levels
Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein

Required

B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering required
Zero to two years of applicable experience required
Assist in development of plans, specifications and inspection reports

Provide direction to designers, CAD operators on candidate's assigned team
