Responsibilities

Conducting adaptive reading workshops focused on building foundational competencies in phonics, fluency, and comprehension

Creating personalized motivational experiences that resonate with children and foster enduring enthusiasm for reading

Reviewing student performance metrics to iteratively improve your instructional methods and identify actionable trends

Partnering with technical staff to assess and improve AI-powered literacy platforms

Qualification

Advanced certification in reading instructionSmall-group reading interventionsEvaluating reading proficiency levelsUsing AI/adaptive learning platformsCreating differentiated instruction

Required

Bachelor's degree paired with advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)

Minimum 2 years of experience facilitating small-group reading interventions for early elementary students

Capable of evaluating reading proficiency levels, organizing student groups, and creating differentiated instruction independent of pre-packaged curricula

Comfortable using AI/adaptive learning platforms and adjusting instruction based on student interaction patterns

Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship requirements

Able to work on-site at one of our locations: Chantilly (Washington), VA; San Francisco, CA; or New York City, NY
