New Grad, Entry LevelClearway Pain Solutions is seeking a skilled and compassionate Procedure Room Technician to join their dynamic team at The Center for Pain. The role involves preparing patients for procedures, assisting healthcare providers, and ensuring a clean and safe environment while providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
Prepare patients for pain management procedures by explaining the process, answering questions, and ensuring their comfort
Assist healthcare providers during pain management procedures, including but not limited to epidural injections, nerve blocks, and spinal cord stimulator trials
Set up and maintain equipment necessary for pain management procedures, ensuring everything is in proper working order
Monitor patients throughout procedures, observing vital signs and responding promptly to any signs of distress or complications
Accurately document patient information, procedure details, and any observations during and after procedures
Maintain a clean and sterile environment in the procedure room, following established protocols for infection control and sterilization
Provide post-procedure instructions to patients, including information on home care, potential side effects, and follow-up appointments
Collaborate with other healthcare team members, including physicians, nurses, and administrative staff, to ensure seamless patient care
Adhere to all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA regulations and safety standards, to ensure patient confidentiality and safety
Stay updated on the latest advancements in pain management procedures and technologies through continuing education and professional development activities
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle patient inquiries and concerns with empathy
Proficient in basic computer skills (MS Office, electronic health records, etc
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move equipment as needed
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Preferred
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
