IRS and DOL corrections, audits, and compliance resolutions
Preparation of plan documents, amendments, and corporate resolutions
ERISA and employee benefits legal advice to plan sponsors
Client communications and matter management
Supervising and delegating work to junior attorneys
Legal research and drafting related to retirement plan compliance
Qualification
Required
JD from an ABA-accredited law school; active bar license (GA preferred)
3+ years of experience in employee benefits / ERISA work
Familiarity with IRS correction programs (e.g., VCP, self-correction)
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Preferred
Experience calculating corrective contributions is strongly preferred
VFCP experience is a plus, but not required
