The State of Florida is seeking a highly motivated individual to work in the Children's Legal Services Division. The role involves assisting lawyers with data entry, legal research, and document preparation to support child advocacy efforts.

Responsibilities
Entering data timely and accurately into statewide databases
Filing pleadings and other legal documents with the clerk of court
Drafting of pleadings, and other legal documents
Maintaining electronic case files
Performs related work as required and assist with all other office duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Completion of a training program to become a legal assistant, a paralegal, a legal paraprofessional or a lawyer's or attorney's assistant
A degree or certificate in legal technology, legal administration, legal studies or allied legal services
An associate's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in allied legal services
Two years of experience involving paralegal work
Two years of experience in legal secretarial work
Successful completion of a State and National criminal history check as a condition of employment
Background screening including fingerprinting for State and Federal criminal records checks through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)

Child Legal Services experience
