The United States Marine Corps is seeking motivated and qualified attorneys for the Marine Corps Judge Advocate Program. As a Marine Judge Advocate, you will lead, advise, and tackle complex legal issues while ensuring justice within the Marine Corps.
Responsibilities
Advising commanders on the full spectrum of military law, from operational law to criminal investigations
Travel the world while developing your leadership and law skills to influence the conflicts in many nations
Tackle complex legal issues with far-reaching implications, constantly learning and adapting to the dynamic landscape of military law
Ensure fairness and justice within the Marine Corps, upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct and legal excellence
Qualification
Required
Possess a Juris Doctorate (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
Are admitted to at least one state bar
Are eligible for security clearance
Demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Exhibit leadership potential and a commitment to teamwork
Possess a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments
Are physically fit and meet Marine Corps standards
Are US citizens
