Responsibilities

Inspect and/or troubleshoot components returned under warranty or per customer request
Clearly define and communicate defects found, both verbally and in writing
Provide input for repair potential to allow return to the customer or return to stock
Collaborate with other departments to address root causes toward future prevention
Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Required

Ability to effectively manage time, resolve problems, and make sound decisions
Ability to address multiple issues simultaneously and work effectively under pressure
Excellent organizational skills and written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail with the ability to read and understand drawings and technical guides
Well-developed computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to work well and solve problems alone and in a team
Able to use electrical multimeters, calipers, power tools, and hand tools
Working understanding of three phase electrics and inverters
Ability to operate mobile equipment
Must have a minimum of 2 years related experience in a fast-paced environment
Maintain arc flash certification

Preferred

SAP or other ERP system experience preferred
Associate's degree or equivalent preferred
Crane industry experience preferred
