Responsibilities

Develop and maintain cost control systems to track expenses across all departments
Conduct regular inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies in beverage and food stocks
Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for improvement
Prepare daily food and beverage potential cost reports
Ensure accurate pricing and menu changes are implemented in the Point of Sale (POS) system
Collaborate with department heads to establish and maintain appropriate par levels for inventory
Monitor supplier contracts and pricing to ensure competitive rates
Verify invoices for accuracy before forwarding to Accounts Payable
Conduct quality inspections of received goods, particularly perishables
Generate and present detailed cost analysis reports to management
Implement and maintain cost control policies and procedures
Assist in budget preparation and forecasting activities

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, considered with extensive experience
Proven experience in cost control, financial management, or a similar role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial analysis
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
Experience with financial management software and inventory systems (e.g., Futurelog, Opera)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Outstanding organizational and time management abilities
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Familiarity with Saudi Arabian financial regulations and practices
Professional certification such as CMA or CIMA
experience is an asset
Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
