Responsibilities
Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and installation work on electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical production equipment
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures
Diagnosing motor and electrical failures
Testing equipment after repairs
Ensuring strict adherence to safety procedures such as lockout/tagout and critical safety device protocols
Accurate CMMS documentation
Proper use of tools and precision tools (multi meters)
Qualification
Required
2 years of minimum cumulative experience performing industrial maintenance, corrective, preventive, and testing in a manufacturing facility or like industrial setting
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and equipment diagrams
Must have knowledge of Critical Safety Devices and functionality
Experience utilizing precision tools
Preferred
Prior experience within a Caterpillar facility
Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot, repair, and installation of manufacturing machine components
Fundamental understanding of CNC ladder logic
Advanced understanding of root cause analysis and FMEA
