Responsibilities

Responsible for research data management for a variety of complex clinical research protocols, including leading efforts in compiling, verifying, managing, and reporting data
Conduct various quality assurance and quality control efforts to ensure the accuracy of research data
Use considerable judgement and research skills to carry out data-based research tasks
Manage research data for a variety of clinical protocols, including compiling, verifying, managing, cleaning, and auditing data, and overseeing quality assurance and quality control activities
Organize and maintain data systems for qualitative and quantitative studies, conducting preliminary analyses, and developing reports, metrics, and visualizations to inform study progress, manuscripts, and grant applications
Contribute to project planning and implementation by collaborating with team members to track study progress and proactively address barriers
Support grant writing and dissemination activities by assisting with literature reviews, manuscript drafting, and editing

Required

Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions
Must be able to use considerable judgement and skills in performing work assignments
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to work and communicate with diverse populations effectively and professionally
Ability to work independently as well as function as part of a team
Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
The position requires strong organizational skills, independent problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate across teams to ensure accurate data management and timely delivery of research outputs
Applied work experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
Experience using a range of data analysis tools
Proficiency with coding languages including STATA, SPSS, R, or similar software
Understanding of multiple regression and longitudinal data analyses
Experience with data collection tools like REDCap and ODK
Advanced Excel experience; Pivot Tables, Macros preferred
Ability to handle large volumes of data
Understanding of data analysis and their applications to research
Independent time management skills, including ability to prioritize workload
Excellent ability to work in teams

Preferred

Prefer experience in public health, biostatistics, epidemiology, or similar field
Prior professional or community experience in reproductive/gynecologic health & healthcare, racial disparities/social determinants of health with self-motivation for continued independent learning
Experience with grant writing or management
Experience with qualitative methods
Experience with global health research
Experience with interacting or managing relationships across cultures
Strong interest and motivation in health equity research
