They are seeking a Senior Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs who will be responsible for negotiating complex agreements and advising senior executives on legal and business matters.

Responsibilities
Analyze, negotiate, and draft a wide range of complex agreements
Serve as a strategic legal and business advisor to senior executives, guiding deal structures, risk assessment, and contract interpretation
Contribute to the development, implementation, and oversight of company policies and best practices related to the businesses the position supports
Support and help shape evolving business models, including emerging technologies and innovative deal structures
Manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Qualification
Required
15+ years of transactional legal experience
Strong understanding of media, entertainment, or content-driven businesses
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively under pressure
Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage complex, multi-layered transactions and agreements
Proven leadership skills, including experience managing, mentoring, and developing legal professionals
Excellent analytical, negotiation, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with internal clients and cross-functional teams
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (or equivalent tools)
Preferred
Juris Doctor (JD) degree; active bar membership (or eligibility for in-house counsel registration, where applicable)
Experience at a top-tier law firm and/or as in-house counsel strongly
