Responsibilities
Responsible for managing and executing Pooley’s accounts payable functions including processing invoices, reconciling statements and ensuring timely payments to vendors
Process payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, coding (using General Ledger codes), verifying, and reconciling invoices
Ensure all company procedures, approval processes, and internal controls related to Accounts Payable are followed
Resolve purchase order, invoice, or payment discrepancies
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
Assist Controller with human resource related and other assigned duties as needed
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED is required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel
Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
Data entry and general math skills
Preferred
A 2- or 4-year degree is a plus
3+ years of Accounts Payable experience preferred
