New Grad, Entry LevelGolden Aluminum is a continuous casting aluminum rolling mill located in Fort Lupton, Colorado. They are seeking a Fabrication Technician to transform materials into finished products by cutting, bending, shaping, and assembling components while ensuring adherence to safety policies and technical specifications.

Responsibilities
Follow and abide by all plant safety policies and guidelines
Read blueprints, schematics and work orders to understand design requirements, layouts, dimensions and welding requirements
Measure, cut, bend and shape metal components and assemblies according to technical plans
Join parts using welding, soldering, riveting or fasteners, ensuring proper alignment and fit
Operate various welding machines (e.g., MIG, TIG, arc) and hand power tools
Inspect finished products for accuracy, functionality and adherence to specifications
Qualification
Required
Ability to demonstrate strong proficiency in troubleshooting in shop activities
Ability to effectively communicate, problem solve, and multi-task in both slow-pace & fast-paced environments
Proficiency in multiple welding techniques
Self-starter, requiring little supervision once training is complete, and be self-motivated when not given a specific task
Demonstrate ability and excel at safely operating overhead crane, fork trucks, and other mobile equipment
Precision-minded and maintain a clean and organized work space
Basic computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, Word, & excel)
Position can be physically demanding requiring ability to lift 50 pounds, ability to work in various positions (flat, vertical and overhead) and reach overhead frequently
