Systems Engineer

Responsibilities
Guide technical teams through every phase of the system’s lifecycle, from concept to delivery
Work closely with stakeholders to uncover mission needs, translating those insights into structured technical requirements
Lead the design process alongside architects to build solutions that meet operational demands
Drive implementation forward with steady oversight—ensuring each milestone is achieved with purpose and accuracy
Shape a comprehensive Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) strategy aligned with broader mission objectives
Define KPIs and performance goals
Assess EMS technologies like radar, satellite communications, and wireless systems
Identify emerging threats, including jamming, spoofing, and eavesdropping
Support the full spectrum of flight test activities—from planning to execution
Guide personnel training in Electronic Warfare (EW) tactics, techniques, and procedures
Assess current aircraft defensive systems to ensure readiness and resilience across the force
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in EW engineering
5+ years of experience with DoD Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations
3+ years of experience with DoD aircraft operations and mission execution
Ability to independently think, plan, and work at a tactical and strategic level
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science
Preferred
Experience with Test and Evaluation of EW systems
Possession of excellent organizational and project management skills
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
