Crossover is seeking a Virtual Learning Assistant for Unbound Academy, a tuition-free virtual charter school. In this role, you will help maintain student engagement and support smooth workshop operations without delivering academic instruction.

Responsibilities

Facilitating live virtual workshops by coordinating breakout rooms, managing transitions, and overseeing group activities

Encouraging student participation and boosting morale through chat messages, public recognition, and one-on-one check-ins

Ensuring students remain engaged, confident, and socially connected throughout their learning sessions

Supporting lead educators with operational tasks that ensure workshops proceed without disruption

Serving as a positive cultural presence and trusted figure within student clubs and life skills programming

Required

Available to work 8am - 5pm Monday through Friday, US Mountain Time (UTC-7)

Minimum of 3 years of experience mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or leading youth groups

Educational background within US, Canadian, or UK school systems (K-16) - must have attended school in one of these countries (current location may be anywhere)

Excellent communication abilities and confidence using digital platforms

Energetic, student-centered approach with attention to detail and seamless transitions
