Responsibilities

Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of a mission-critical system

Work closely with the Product Owner and stakeholders to perform workflow/business process engineering, functional requirements gathering, and technical requirements definition

Work closely with the Task Lead, Scrum Master, System Engineers, and Developers to facilitate story/sprint planning, sprint execution, functional testing, and sprint reviews/demos

TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph

12 yrs, B.S. or 4 additional yrs in place of B.S

At least five (5) years of experience performing in a Lead System Engineer role for a software development team

Familiarity with software development using Unix/Linux, Java or Java Spring frameworks, RESTful micro-services (Spring Boot), and Cloud-based architecture and deployment (Amazon Web Services)

Working collaboratively to elicit and document functional and technical requirements

Acting as liaison between customers and the development team, to include managing customer expectations

Comprehending and articulating intricate technical details to various audiences

Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
