Responsibilities

Develop and document multi-year funding plans and budget estimates for SDC programs, ensuring they align with the organization's goals and priorities
Monitor execution year program operating budgets, identify funding variances, and recommend resource realignments to optimize mission fulfillment
Establish and maintain financial control systems and procedures to effectively manage appropriated, reimbursable, and external funding for SDC programs
Prepare and present comprehensive reports and analyses on program status, funding trends, and potential issues to senior leaders and stakeholders
Evaluate the programs' needs and find a way to acquire them efficiently while also adhering to government and policies and regulations

Required

U.S. Citizenship or National
Registered for Selective Service (males born after 12-31-1959)
Suitable for federal employment
Favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment
One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade 13 within the federal service
Experience that includes aligning program funding with strategic goals, managing budgets, and proactively resolving funding challenges
Education is not substitutable for specialized experience for this grade level
Official transcripts must be verified PRIOR to appointment
An accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education must accredit education
Proof of foreign education credentials deemed equivalent to U.S. education program if applicable
Sufficient evidence, including transcripts, for equivalency evaluation of foreign education must be provided
Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service
Employment of retired Federal employees receiving an annuity is subject to the requirements of the Department of Defense (DoD) policy guidance
Candidates should be committed to improving the efficiency of the Federal government, passionate about the ideals of our American republic, and committed to upholding the rule of law and the United States Constitution
