Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production manufacturing and material-handling equipment in the production facilities building(s), in accordance with work orders and technical documentation as assigned in a timely manner
Be familiar with PM procedures, including performing PMs, logging completion, etc
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), System Control Software (SCS), scanners, etc
Recommend and implement corrective action
Be familiar with PLC logic principles
Qualification
Required
2 years' minimum experience in industrial PLC controls maintenance in a manufacturing facility or cumulative industrial setting
Expertise in automation on Allen Bradley, ABB, CLOOS, Lincoln equipment, as well as other automation products within the facility
Prior experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing Industrial electrical / electronic production and material-handling equipment
Preferred
Prior experience within a Caterpillar facility
Experience utilizing DeviceNet protocols
Familiar with PLC ladder logic principles
Prior work experience in a heavy equipment production facility, or comparable automated production plant / facility
