Responsibilities
Lead large-scale projects focused on driving operational excellence within Walmart’s supply chain through effective implementation and sustained process compliance. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining tools that support project initiatives—such as feedback collection, gap identification, and site-level compliance monitoring—by gathering and analyzing data, designing solutions, and implementing enhancements
Develop, implement, and maintain project tools—including feedback, gap identification, and process audit and compliance reporting tools—by gathering and analyzing data to inform decisions
Collaborate with business units and the enterprise change management program to define project objectives, coordinate planning, manage resources and budgets, and enable successful change and deployments. Following implementation, this role is accountable for driving and sustaining process compliance at assigned sites through audits, observations, reporting, and trend analysis, ensuring adherence to standard work. This role communicates compliance risks, trends, and corrective actions to leadership while modeling compliance with company policies, values, and ethical standards
Monitor projects for changes to scope, schedule, and costs, and ensure adherence to deployment and sustainment standards
Analyze business efficiencies and process compliance results for supply chain projects using various methodologies, developing data-driven solutions to address gaps and risks
Automate and implement tools to support analytics, audit reporting, compliance dashboards, and trend analysis, and communicate findings to leadership
Provide expert guidance to support the development and execution of corrective action plans driven by audit and observation outcomes
Build strong partnerships with stakeholders to implement business solutions, reinforce standard work, monitor compliance performance, and adapt to change
Model and enforce compliance with company policies, values, ethical standards, and established processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Arts, Sciences, Business, or related field and 2 years' experience in project management, operations management, or related field OR 4 years' experience in project management, operations management, or related field
Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.)
Proven experience leading large-scale projects, preferably in supply chain or operations environments, including post-implementation sustainment and compliance accountability
Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, interpret, and leverage data to drive business decisions, audit insights, and compliance improvement
Experience developing and implementing tools to support project initiatives, analytics, and audit or compliance reporting
Excellent organizational and project management skills, including resource planning and budget management
Ability to build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams and site leadership
Strong problem-solving skills, with a track record of developing practical solutions to process and compliance gaps
Expertise in project management and the ability to provide guidance to others
Commitment to ethical standards, company values, and compliance with policies and procedures
Preferred
Developing reporting, database, and/or feedback tools
Leading a cross-functional team
Writing queries, report automation, or related field (for example, SQL queries, Microsoft Excel macro development)
