Responsibilities
Conduct individual and small-group coaching with PreK Guides, demonstrating effective techniques and recognizing measurable progress
Create and facilitate play-based learning sessions integrating SEL, literacy, numeracy, and motor development, serving as a model for the instructional team
Evaluate and standardize Guide documentation on a weekly basis to ensure rubric consistency and clarity, leading calibration meetings to maintain visibility of milestone achievement
Develop family communications and facilitate team huddles to align goals and uphold shared standards that support campus-wide PreK readiness objectives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related discipline
At least 5 years of professional experience in early childhood education, child development, or a comparable area
Demonstrated experience facilitating group activities with young children between the ages of 3 and 5
Documented success designing and executing play-based educational frameworks or curricula that promote developmental milestones, such as Montessori
A minimum of 1 year coaching or supervising educator teams with accountability for performance outcomes
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to support family engagement and team coordination
Legal authorization to work in the United States with no requirement for visa sponsorship
Commitment to working onsite at the Alpha Austin campus, with relocation support available as needed
Preferred
Master's degree or specialized certifications
