Responsibilities
Evaluate processes and equipment to ensure safe and efficient production methods
Maintain documentation of processes via process flow diagrams (PFDs) and process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
Develop and review Heat and Mass Balances, Utility Consumption, Equipment and Installation Specifications
Conduct research to develop new and improved manufacturing processes
Support capital project development and implementation, including managing project budgets and coordinating project execution and startups
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering, Engineering, or related field with relevant experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing within a food production or FDA/USDA facility
Understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement philosophies and principles
Experience managing project quotes, budgeting, scheduling, and contractor management
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners
