IT Infrastructure Services Manager
The State of Wisconsin, Department of Military Affairs (DMA) is seeking an IT Infrastructure Services Manager to shape the agency’s IT infrastructure strategy. The role involves leading the design and management of the Department’s enterprise server infrastructure and providing technical leadership to ensure operational efficiency and security.

Responsibilities
Leading the design, implementation, and management of the Department’s enterprise server infrastructure
Providing expert-level technical leadership in the development and maintenance of secure, scalable, and resilient server environments that support mission-critical operations
Working closely with the system administration team, the security administrator, and the network administrator to ensure infrastructure services are aligned, secure, and optimized
Representing the agency in statewide technical forums and contributing to long-term IT planning
Qualification
Required
Performing server administration tasks in enterprise environments using Windows Server and/or Linux
Managing virtualization platforms, such as VMware vSphere or ESXi
Working with cloud services (e.g., Microsoft Azure) in an infrastructure or systems role
Monitoring and troubleshooting system performance and availability using enterprise tools
Preferred
Using automation or scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell, Azure Automation) for infrastructure tasks
Leading or coordinating IT infrastructure projects involving multiple stakeholders
Developing or maintaining technical documentation for enterprise systems
Applying security or compliance standards (e.g., NIST) in system configuration or documentation
