Mid LevelThrone Solutions is seeking an experienced Wireless Network Engineer to support a short-term project involving a complete Wi-Fi assessment and access point upgrade. The engineer will conduct on-site surveys, validate infrastructure, and oversee the replacement of legacy access points.

Responsibilities
Conduct an on-site wireless heat map survey using the new access points
Analyze provided floor plans for all three floors to determine optimal AP placement and coverage
Verify and document the type and condition of cabling used for existing access points
Prepare a technical report and quotation for any additional cabling or infrastructure required
Support the removal of old access points and installation of new units
Validate network performance post-deployment and ensure proper coverage and signal quality
Coordinate with the Throne Solutions project team to complete tasks within the project timeline
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Wireless Network Engineer or similar role
Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi site surveys and heat map analysis tools (Ekahau Sidekick2 Needed)
Strong knowledge of structured cabling standards (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, etc.)
Experience in access point installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
Ability to read and work with architectural floor plans
Strong documentation and communication skills
Ability to work on-site
Preferred
Wireless certifications (CWNA, CWDP, CWAP) are a plus
Experience with enterprise Wi-Fi vendors (Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus, Ubiquiti, etc.)
Prior experience with multi-floor commercial deployments
