They are seeking a Senior Data Governance Consultant who will lead planning and execution of data and BI governance efforts, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and governance standards.

Responsibilities
Leading data governance initiatives, deliverables, and timelines
Driving metadata curation and ensuring accuracy and consistency within the business glossary
Defining, implementing, and enforcing data quality rules
Ensuring semantic alignment of technical and business metadata across enterprise data domains
Applying governance standards consistently across all workstreams
Proactively identifying risks, resolving issues, and escalating blockers as needed
Coaching and mentoring team members on data governance best practices
Communicating governance value, adoption, and program success across stakeholders
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in data governance and data management implementations
Proven experience leading data governance, data quality, and data stewardship initiatives
Strong understanding of the DAMA/DMBOK framework
Hands-on experience with metadata management and business glossaries
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
Bachelor's degree required (Master's degree preferred or equivalent experience)
Authorization to work in the U.S. is required; sponsorship is not available
Preferred
Hands-on experience with Collibra Data Governance and/or Collibra Data Quality
Experience delivering data governance work in an Agile environment
Familiarity with data modeling concepts
