IS Support Analyst 1 (Temp Conversion)
Parker Hannifin is a leader in aerospace technologies and solutions, seeking an IS Support Analyst 1 to provide day-to-day consultation and troubleshooting for internal computer users. Responsibilities
Preforms complex work to establish and maintain information systems, databases and interfaces to meet business objectives
Provides expertise in day-to-day consultation, training, trouble-shooting and problem-solving for internal computer users
Responds to and resolves computer problems quickly to ensure maximum uptime and minimum disruption to user activity
Identifies and addresses complex usability problems, while monitoring and managing user accounts
Trains end-user in the use and applicability of various computer systems and hardware
Participates in Information Services projects, performs analysis and implements multi-function office systems
Evaluates existing systems and/or user needs and makes recommendations to increase efficiency to meet business needs
Other responsibilities as assigned
The primary duties of this job require highly-specialized skill in the design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing or modification of computer systems or programs, including prototypes, based on and related to user or system design specifications; the application of systems analysis techniques and procedures to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications; the design, documentation, testing, creation or modification of computer programs related to machine operating systems; or a combination of these duties
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary
Qualification
Required
Good technical expertise and experience in consultation, training, trouble-shooting and complex problem-solving for internal computer users
Excellent analytical skills and judgment to proactively identify and solve problems
Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize with changing situations
Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and database management tools
High School Diploma/Equivalent and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations
0-2 years' experience
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree preferred
