Responsibilities
Facilitate requirements confirmation and existing solution design; conduct gap analysis and propose solution alternatives
Architect scalable and efficient Workday Financials solutions aligned with business needs
Design, develop, and implement solutions for modules including Core Financials, Banking & Settlements, Accounting Centre, Revenue Management, Contracts-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Grants, and Projects
Optimize Grants Management processes, including Pre-/Post-Award, Effort Certification, Subawards, Salary Cap, and Award Budget Plans
Collaborate with vendors to optimize integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, BIRT, REST/SOAP APIs, and Prism Analytics
Identify and implement Workday Extend solutions to address functionality gaps and improve efficiency
Ensure compliance with US GAAP, federal grant guidelines, and industry-specific regulations
Design security frameworks, data governance strategies, and FDM structures for financial reporting and compliance
Lead ERP migrations from legacy systems (e.g., PeopleSoft) to Workday with minimal disruption
Develop automated workflows for financial processes such as Payroll Reconciliation, Revenue Recognition, Expense Processing, and Subaward Tracking
Guide the creation of advanced reports, dashboards, and analytics using Prism Analytics and Workday Extend
Enhance financial visibility through robust reporting frameworks tailored to organizational needs
Qualification
Required
Active Workday Financials certifications (Core Financials, Banking & Settlements, Revenue Management, Grants Management, Accounting Centre, Contracts-to-Cash) valid through 2025 R1
Minimum 10+ years of ERP implementation experience, with 7+ years dedicated to Workday Financials
Advanced knowledge of Workday integration tools (Studio, EIB, BIRT, REST/SOAP APIs) and cross-functional modules (Adaptive Planning, Prism Analytics, Extend)
Proven experience ensuring compliance with US GAAP and federal grant regulations
Preferred
5-7 years of experience in multi-tenant Workday Financials deployments across public sector
Expertise in designing and implementing Accounting Centre for cash-basis reporting and advanced allocations
Strong background in ERP migrations from legacy systems, including PeopleSoft to Workday
