The Full Stack Developer will work on a team to develop, test, debug, and document complex program code for information systems, focusing on design, development, and maintenance of advanced multi-user web and database applications.

Responsibilities

Designs, codes and modifies complex computer programs and database architectures, subroutines, triggers, stored procedures, objects, classes and scripts. Performs necessary testing of assigned programs, including the generation of test data, writing test scripts/execution sequences, examining test results, debugging detected errors, etc. Uses current software development methods/techniques and established development standards (which include programming standards, documentation standards and testing standards) to ensure the quality and maintainability of applications. Participates in code reviews to ensure compliance with development standards and system/business requirements

Oversees the project development lifecycle and coordinates with business analysts and testers on all creation or modification to applications or reports. Oversees the planning, verifies design proposals, and perform in-depth research and analysis, when needed, on project proposals. Reviews programming work for consistency with team standards, code efficiency, project requirement compliance, and quality

Identifies, investigates and resolves production problems. This may include analyzing problems, coding, testing, implementing and training of other technical staff and/or customers. Monitors the applications, reports, and databases for exception or performance issues. Handles any exceptions or performance problems as they occur

Analyze, design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using programming languages to improve software process efficiency

Designs, codes and modifies complex data extracts and automated reports

Performs other tasks as assigned, such as but no limited to, technical documentation or assistance on a complex level to staff or customers on hardware, software, or applications

Required

Two or more years of professional experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex web-based or client/server applications

Skill in developing C# ASP.NET/React web applications or similar language(s)

Skill in mining and analyzing data

Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets

Knowledge of object-oriented programming

Knowledge of programming language(s)

Knowledge of web accessibility standards

Knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems to include the use of the management tools

Knowledge of industry best practices for design, analysis, development, validation and implementation

Knowledge of the principles and practices of methods and procedures analysis, work simplification, forms and records design and control, and staff and equipment utilization

Ability to analyze complex business problems and provide web related solutions using .NET framework

Ability to perform detailed work accurately

Ability to handle multiple projects

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

Ability to participate in projects against established timelines with limited supervision

Ability to work independently or in a team environment

Ability to participate in requirements gathering sessions

Preferred

Prefer experience designing and developing database applications using relational database management software

Prefer experience designing and developing reports using report development tools

Prefer experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft SQL Server

Prefer experience developing applications using a .NET front end with a SQL Server back end

Prefer graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field

Prefer knowledge of structured programming design and methodology and data processing techniques

Prefer experience with MS SQL development and maintenance, website maintenance and development, MS Access development and maintenance, JavaScript, jQuery, ASP.net, Data Sources using Visual Studio, analytical skills for debugging application errors, and/or .CSS
