Senior Accountant

Responsibilities
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes
Assist with the preparation of internal and external financial statements
Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and applicable regulations
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed
Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation entries
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes
Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline accounting functions
Mentor junior accounting staff and support their professional development
Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Operations, Finance, and Compliance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
High attention to detail and integrity in handling sensitive financial information
