Responsibilities
Working on the Mechanical Engineering team to support various products in the product line
Perform mechanical engineering duties such as drawing reviews, tolerance analyses, and other mechanical analysis under the supervision of Mechanical leads and SMEs
Generate Change Orders (Cos) to resolve production design issues
Supporting product yield and affordability improvement initiatives
Supporting transition to production of new products
Working in partnership with a cross functional team to ensure on time deliveries of quality products to support the War Fighter
Qualification
Required
Mechanical Engineering degree and 2+ years' experience
Experience with 3D Modeling, CREO Parametric a plus
Ability to research and apply mechanical engineering principles and theories to solve mechanical engineering problems
Ability to support products from their transition to production through sustainment
Ability to multi-task and utilize resources on your team to solve issues in a dynamic environment
Motivated self-starter with leadership potential and ability to effectively work in a team environment
Excellent problem solving skills, judgment, and analytical capability
Ability to close on discrete tasking in a timely manner - Own the Design
Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Active Secret Clearance HIGHLY PREFERRED
1+ years' experience working in a manufacturing environment
Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
Experience in packaging of electronics
Experience working with RF systems
