Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and equipment, including oil changes, lubrications, and filter replacements

Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, electrical systems, and hydraulic problems in diesel engines and equipment

Use diagnostic equipment to identify issues and determine the necessary repairs

Rebuild, replace, or repair major components of diesel engines, such as heads, blocks, starters, and transmissions

Collaborate with the operations team to schedule maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime

Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures in the workshop and on the job site

Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work

Stay updated on the latest diesel engine technology and repair techniques
