Responsibilities
Support the Controller in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring revenue and expenses are properly matched and reported
Prepare and review journal entries related to payroll, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, equity, and general ledger activity
Perform account reconciliations, research discrepancies, and resolve issues efficiently
Assist in producing monthly financial statements and variance analysis for balance sheet and income statement accounts
Participate in month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of audit schedules
Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate reporting
Oversee the preparation and filing of 1099s
Review payroll entries and provide explanations for monthly variances
Evaluate current accounting policies and procedures and recommend improvements
Assist with corporate credit card and expense reporting to ensure proper classification and compliance
Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and Travel & Expense teams to ensure financial accuracy
Contribute to special projects related to financial reporting and operational enhancements
Qualification
Required
Active CPA
2 - 4 years in a Supervisory role
Advanced Excel
Strong organizational skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required
Preferred
Public accounting or professional services experience is preferred
Experience with NetSuite
