Responsibilities

Design, configure, and maintain 911 call routing systems, including Enhanced 911 (E911) and NG911 platforms

Integrate emergency communications systems with federal networks while maintaining security boundaries and compliance

Troubleshoot complex technical issues across voice, data, and location services within 911 infrastructure

Configure and optimize Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) interfaces and Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) equipment

Develop and maintain technical documentation, system diagrams, and standard operating procedures

Collaborate with military installation emergency services, security forces, and civilian first responders

Perform system upgrades, patches, and preventive maintenance during approved maintenance windows

Participate in disaster recovery planning and emergency response exercises

Monitor system performance and implement improvements to ensure 99.999% uptime requirements
