Responsibilities

Assist the VP with the month-end close of the local general ledger (Flexcube), ensuring the US Branch financials and associated subsidiaries are accurately represented and align to Group Minimum Standards
Support the timely submission of local USD financials into the Group ledger (SAP) for –WD1 to WD4/5 ensuring accurate ledger reporting in the UK
Assist the team to ensure effective operation of the local control framework. Ensuring all balances are substantiated and reconciled. Tasks include but not limited to journal entries, the sub-attestation process and journal log testing
Assist the VP when reviewing Group system responsibilities such as AOC, GDRS and ICS
Assist the team to ensure GMS (Group Minimum Standards), IFRS and SOX compliance across the Financial Control Framework
Assist the VP supporting the Broker-Dealer, including but not limited to the production of the Daily Net Capital calculation for our broker-dealer business. Ensuing relationships with both broker-dealer Sales, Compliance and Finances colleagues are managed effectively

Preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred
2+ years of relevant experience preferred
