Responsibilities

Translate functional specifications into detailed technical design documents
Develop solutions following industry best practices and perform thorough unit testing
Participate in system and integration testing and support user acceptance testing
Resolve application defects and implement system enhancements
Support deployment activities across staging and production environments for smooth releases
Collaborate with DBA, Sysadmin, and infrastructure teams to address performance and availability issues

Required

Strong healthcare domain knowledge (Commercial – Individual/Group market segments)
Good understanding of claims, provider contracts, and pricing arrangements
Hands-on development experience in .NET, SQL Server, and Oracle
Exposure to cloud solutions leveraging Azure, AWS, or other major platforms
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to support QA, release management, and system maintenance activities

Preferred

Familiarity with Cognizant core products such as Facets, QNXT, and NetworX
