Responsibilities

Design and articulate high‑level AWS services architecture that aligns with customer requirements, compliance standards, and enterprise IT strategies

Design network, security, and governance architecture based on application needs

Build delivery models (operate, enhance, transform) with clear SLAs, KPIs, RACI, and transition plans

Collaborate with sales stakeholders to qualify opportunities and craft compelling technical proposals addressing AWS Service mapping, migration strategies, network and security architecture for hosting and running client enterprise applications

Shape solution scope, assumptions, dependencies, and pricing inputs; contribute to SOWs and commercial terms with Legal/Commercial

Lead client engagements, including technical demonstrations, proofs of concept, pilots, and security assessments to evidence value and feasibility

Present architecture rationale, tradeoffs, and value realization to IT leadership, App Owners, and business executives

Advise customers on AWS best practices, Microservice Architecture, AWS Governance and Org Structure, and Cost Saving Strategies

Develop and maintain deep understanding of existing and new services introduced by AWS Cloud Platform such as Serverless frameworks, multi-region deployment, building highly available applications on AWS, DevOps on AWS

Partner with engineering, delivery, and product teams to ensure smooth handover, readiness, and successful implementation

Where appropriate, support early deal stabilization to de‑risk transition

Stay updated on industry trends, threat landscapes, and vendor roadmaps to continuously innovate offerings

Support technical training, marketing presentations, and participation in industry events

Qualification

Required

Minimum 8 years in a technology environment, specifically AWS or similar technologies

Minimum 5 years in solution planning, deal shaping, presales engineering, or enterprise solution architecture for the AWS Cloud Platform

Minimum of 3 years of hands-on knowledge and expertise of Core AWS Services (AWS Org Structure, EC2 instances, RDS Databases, Cloud Networking/Transit Gateway), Advance serverless architecture on AWS (Lambda Functions, EKS/ECS), and DevOps frameworks

Bachelor's degree or equivalent (12 years of work experience). If Associate's Degree: 6 years minimum relevant experience required
