Commercial Lines Account Manager

Falcon West Insurance Brokers, Inc. is expanding and seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager / Customer Service Representative to support their growing property & casualty team. The role involves collaborating with the team to deliver optimal solutions to commercial insurance prospects and clients, while managing a diverse book of business in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist clients in navigating the often-confusing world of commercial insurance
Maintain high standards of customer service with timely and efficient communication
Collaborate with underwriters to market new business and renew existing accounts
Prepare compelling proposals and presentations for clients
Monitor complex claims and support clients through resolution
Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities during renewals
Ensure timely, accurate policy delivery and documentation
Continuously grow your insurance knowledge through continuing education

Required

Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of experience in a similar insurance-related administrative or customer service role
Active Property & Casualty license (required)
Ability to assess and manage client risk profiles
Solid understanding of commercial insurance products (e.g., BOP, general liability, property, workers' comp, commercial auto, cyber liability, etc.)
Accuracy and efficiency in handling quotes, policies, endorsements, and renewals
Excellent organizational skills for managing certificates, endorsements, and daily service tasks
Proactive problem-solving skills to identify coverage gaps or client needs
Experience resolving claims or billing issues diplomatically and effectively
Strong negotiation skills with carriers to secure favorable terms or pricing
Adaptability to evolving carrier appetites, systems, and regulations
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
Strong relationship-building abilities
Independent worker who thrives in a team environment
Highly accurate, with strong attention to detail
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable with digital tools, quoting systems, and carrier portals
Goal-driven with a strong desire to achieve results
Familiarity with Excel, Outlook, and Word for communication and documentation

Preferred

Professional designations such as CIC, CRM, CISR, or CPCU are highly valued
Proficiency in AMS360 or Applied Systems is a plus
