They are seeking a Quality Technician I to ensure quality system and product standards for all materials manufactured within the facility, providing oversight and resolving manufacturing issues.

Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections of raw or finished goods to determine compliance with appropriate documents (work order, work instructions, SPX/SAP requirements, drawings, visual standards., line release forms, etc)
Conduct visual and dimensional checks, using measuring tools, on incoming materials, production parts, and final products
Generate accurate records of inspections, prepare basic reports, and update quality logs on paper, in Microsoft Office and in ERP system
Maintain quality standards to ensure that manufactured finished goods conform to specific parameters that define product quality
Perform routine checks and calibrations on measurement and test equipment
Verify the collection of required product samples based on production schedules
Document and investigate safety and quality issues as directed
Report on product safety and quality issues to QA and Operations Leaders
Monitor and verify hold product for correct rework completion
Problem solve in support of non-conforming product disposition
Incoming material inspections to ensure specifications are met and addressing identified issues
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
Must be a team player with a positive attitude
Must be able to interact with all levels of people within the organization and at suppliers or customers
Must be able to multi-task and maintain priority levels as needed
Strong communication skills are required – written and verbal
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail and visual acuity
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
Ability to accommodate flexibility in the work schedule
Preferred
1 year of experience in quality control and assurance in a manufacturing facility strongly preferred
SAP/S4 (Other ERP system) experience is preferred
