Responsibilities

Develop and facilitate small-group reading workshops tailored to K-2 students, ensuring phonics instruction is enjoyable, interactive, and individualized
Modify teaching approaches on the fly in response to learner needs, reading proficiency levels, and engagement signals
Conduct motivational one-on-ones with students to promote progress in adaptive literacy platforms and support goal attainment
Track student performance metrics from adaptive tools and apply insights to customize instruction for each group
Employ storytelling, humor, gaming metaphors, and affirmative feedback to sustain student effort and address reluctance

Required

Bachelor's degree in elementary education, reading, or a related discipline

2+ years of experience providing small-group reading instruction to K-2 students or learners facing reading challenges
Proven capacity to evaluate student reading abilities and develop differentiated instruction autonomously
Excited about video games and gaming culture, whether or not you are a gamer
Authorized to work legally in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship
