Educational Coach- Syracuse area
Contact Community Services is focused on enhancing community well-being, and they are seeking a PAX GBG Partner to coordinate and oversee the implementation of the PAX Good Behavior Game in school settings. The role involves collaborating with educators, providing training and support, and ensuring fidelity to the program's objectives through classroom observations and community workshops.

Responsibilities
Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with teachers, support staff, administrators, and community partners
Model PAX GBG strategies and empower teachers to implement and sustain PAX GBG with fidelity in their buildings
Deliver PAX Tools Community Workshops to parents, caregivers, and community-based providers
Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling and problem-solving; adapt plans creatively to promote effective implementation of PAX GBG and PAX Tools
Ensure classroom teachers meet and maintain fidelity by consistently implementing core PAX GBG components; progressively increasing the amount of time the game is played to achieve goals
Conduct, at a minimum, weekly site visits to each PAX GBG classroom to provide coaching, modeling, and feedback
Collaborate with district, funders, and Supervisor to strengthen PAX GBG and PAX Tools at each site
Provide and/or support the delivery of professional development to school support staff and teaching staff through meetings, specialized training and booster sessions
Provide support for summer school
Complete or required program and/or funder training and all required agency training such as NYS Mandated Reporter, Sexual Harassment etc
Participate in school and/or community events functions such as Open House, family nights, resources fairs
Collect and complete data entry on weekly basis; analyze and report outcome data; compile monthly and quarterly reports as required by funders
Ensure all data and records are maintained following privacy and confidentiality policies and procedures
Participate in staff meetings, agency meetings and events
Qualification
Required
Associates degree in education, behavioral sciences, or a related human services field from an accredited institution and a minimum of 4 years experience in a school-based setting providing behavioral or educational programming services to children
Demonstrated capacity in school-based program implementation, training, coaching and evaluation skills
Strong facilitation skills with experience delivering presentations and trainings to diverse audiences
Proficiency in data entry, program evaluation, and outcome reporting
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in dynamic school environments
Must submit to and pass background checks by the Office of Mental Health, the NYS Justice Center, the NYS Department of Education, and educational verification if required
Flexible schedule required, including some evening and weekend hours
Ability to travel and work at different school sites and community setting

Access to reliable daily transportation to travel to school and community sites as needed
Follow School Services Attendance and PTO policies and procedures
Provide support as needed/assigned for all PAX trainings
Preferred
Bachelors degree in education, behavioral sciences, or a related human services field and a minimum of 2 years experience in a school-based setting providing behavioral or educational programming services to children
Masters degree in a related field is a plus
