MMP - Field Agency Manager

Responsibilities

Onboards, trains, mentors, and motivates a team of independent sales agents / brokerage agents such that they generate premium from the distribution of the Company’s products
Sources, attracts, interviews, and selects sales team members to distribute the Company’s portfolio of products
Sources, attracts, and selects brokerage organizations to distribute the Company’s portfolio of products
Conducts field training and joint field work to expand skills of team members
Leads weekly educational, motivational and strategic sales meetings for your team
Ensures that new and existing customers have the service and support they need
Supports a culture that thrives on solution-oriented selling, collaboration, personal growth, problem solving, and being part of a growth-oriented organization striving to become a destination of choice for agents / distributors in the health insurance space
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in business or health care administration, marketing or related field
Equivalent education and experience directly related to the role may substitute for a degree
7 years of experience in health insurance sales, which includes building and leading a team
Life, Accident and Health insurance license with department of insurance in applicable state(s)
Knowledge of under 65, Medicare, and small group health insurance markets
Knowledge of lead generation processes and best practices, including networking groups, purchased leads, referrals, etc
Entrepreneurial spirit and drive
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong oral, written, interpersonal communication skills
Ability to make presentations to groups
