Tenure-Track ASSISTANT PROFESSOR of Pharmacology & Pharmaceutical Sciences / UMKC SCHOOL of PHARMACY
The University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Pharmacy is dedicated to advancing pharmacy education, research, and practice. They are seeking a highly motivated individual for a tenure-track assistant professorship in Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical Sciences, focusing on research in toxicology and contributing to the training of PharmD students.

Responsibilities
Initiate and maintain an extramurally-funded research program that will support the training and mentoring of students in our PhD program and contribute to the R1 status of our university
Train PharmD students in appropriate course work and contribute to our certificate program
Qualification
Required
PhD, MD/DO, and/or PharmD with teaching experience in a relevant field
2+ years of postdoctoral training or equivalent experience
Excellent background of primary research publications in high-impact scientific journals
Possess a genuine passion for research and teaching
Preferred
Experience and/or training in teaching and mentorship in higher education
Experience working in or with governmental organizations at the state or federal level
