Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Revenue Qualification
Vertice Labs is a company focused on high-ticket sales conversations driven by a VSL. They are seeking a Sales Development Representative to qualify leads and ensure that only the most relevant prospects reach the founder, thereby protecting valuable sales time.
Responsibilities
Qualifying inbound VSL leads through short, structured calls
Pressure-testing budget, urgency, and execution readiness
Identifying false urgency created by marketing momentum
Disqualifying prospects who are not ready or not a fit
Setting clear expectations for founder-led sales conversations
Confirming meetings to maintain high show rates
Actively protecting the founder’s calendar from low-quality meetings
Partnering with sales to improve qualification accuracy over time
Flagging funnel patterns, objections, and lead quality issues proactively
Qualification
Required
Have an approved or clearly attainable budget for a high-ticket, custom engagement
Are prepared to begin execution within 30 days
Have decision authority or direct access to it
Can articulate a real business problem with priority behind it
Understand this is a decision-oriented working session, not a demo
Preferred
Have experience qualifying mid- to high-ticket B2B deals
Are comfortable asking about budget and urgency directly
Have disqualified more prospects than you have booked
Can counterbalance marketing momentum with skepticism
Think in terms of revenue quality, not activity metrics
Require minimal scripting or hand-holding
Take pride in protecting sales time
