Responsibilities
Own daily AP, AR, and bill entry workflows
Ensure clean, timely, and accurate posting in QuickBooks Online
Manage Bill.com payment workflows and approvals
Maintain alignment between Buildertrend and QBO job costing
Enforce correct use of: Entity, Project / Job, Cost codes, Classes & locations
Review job cost accuracy across land, development, and vertical construction
Flag cost overruns, miscodes, or missing documentation
First-level reviewer of: Bills, Deposits, Vendor coding
Enforce separation of duties and approval thresholds
Coordinate with Controller on close, accruals, and corrections
Produce weekly cash position reports by entity
Track AP aging, AR aging, and upcoming obligations
Support monthly close process and audits
Qualification
Required
5+ years in accounting or financial operations
Experience in construction, real estate development, or homebuilding
Strong job costing and cost code discipline
Hands-on QBO and Bill.com experience
Detail-oriented, process-driven mindset
