This role involves managing SharePoint administration and automation tasks while providing technical guidance to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Strong technical acumen, ideally with a cyber background, to identify technical issues during interviews and assessments
Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and provide actionable recommendations
Experience with SharePoint administration, SharePoint Advanced Management, including efficiently pulling access lists and providing guidance to data owners and stewards
Ability to script and automate tasks related to unstructured data, including working with data stored on NAS drives (data will be stored both in the cloud and locally on a mix of hardware)
Familiarity with Microsoft Purview for data discovery, classification, and governance, including both discovery and post-discovery actions (familiar with both Purview M365 and Purview data governance)
Consulting skills to interview non-technical business users, map data flows, and extract relevant information from business processes
Ability to work independently as the primary resource on the project
