Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of prospects and customers— including managers, engineers, supervisors, technicians, professors, and students—by supporting them at all stages, handling inquiries via email and phone, and providing application consultations for recommended equipment
Manage the entire sales process within the assigned territory by conducting sales and marketing activities, meeting regular sales targets, preparing and submitting territory forecasts, providing quotations and information, and ensuring effective follow-up through CRM pipeline management
Organize and coordinate travel for prospect and customer visits, equipment and consumables demonstrations, and represent the company at relevant conferences, tradeshows, meetings, and Webex consultations and training sessions; maintain accurate activity and communication logs in CRM
Provide and maintain opportunity and sales pipeline reports, make recommendations for product improvements and marketing opportunities, and schedule and conduct customer demonstrations and consultations to maximize territory performance

Qualification

Materials ScienceIndustrial Sales ExperienceCRM SystemsMicrosoft OfficeMechanical AptitudeOrganizational SkillsCommunication SkillsTeam-oriented

Required

practical metallurgical laboratory and/or industrial sales experience will also be considered
Ability to work independently and proactively, with strong organizational and communication skills and mechanical aptitude
proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required
Team-oriented and able to travel an average of 60% of the time

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Materials Science or a related engineering discipline preferred
Experience with CRM systems preferred
