Head of Retention
Mars Men is a fast-growing subscription brand in the men’s health space, and they are seeking a Head of Retention to own the full post-purchase customer lifecycle. The role involves overseeing email and SMS marketing, building customer lifecycle strategies, and creating data-backed retention campaigns to maximize customer lifetime value and reduce churn.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategies that increase repeat purchase rate and subscriber retention
Build systems and campaigns that identify and win back at-risk customers
Manage and optimize Klaviyo flows, campaigns, and segmentation for maximum engagement
Own dashboards for churn, retention, and LTV; pull insights and act on them weekly
Work with Growth to align messaging from acquisition through retention, and with CX to ensure feedback informs strategy
Design onboarding, winback, and reactivation journeys that increase long-term loyalty
Continuously A/B test messaging, offers, and timing to improve performance
Use data and feedback to advocate for customer needs and long-term experience improvements
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of experience in retention, lifecycle, or CRM marketing (ideally for a subscription/DTC brand)
Deep experience managing Klaviyo (or similar ESP) and SMS platforms
Proven track record improving LTV and reducing churn in a subscription model
Strong analytical skills; comfortable with data visualization, cohort tracking, and forecasting
Experience working with CX teams to implement customer feedback
Excellent communication and project management skills
Strategic thinker with hands-on execution skills—can build, test, and launch quickly
