Responsibilities
Purchase, track, and manage tools, PPE, consumables, and coating supplies as requested by supervisors and management
Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory levels, and usage
Research and evaluate vendors to secure competitive pricing and quality
Coordinate delivery of materials to job sites, shops, and warehouses
Monitor tool condition and coordinate repairs, replacements, and warranty claims
Work with field and shop leadership to anticipate upcoming needs and avoid supply disruptions
Ensure compliance with purchasing procedures and budget guidelines
Provide administrative and operational support to the Equipment Division
Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned
Qualification
Required
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping
Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, supervisors, and internal teams
Experience negotiating pricing and working with suppliers
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
3+ years of experience in purchasing, supply chain coordination, or inventory management preferred
Knowledge of tools, PPE, and materials used in underground utility construction is a plus
