New GradRainbow Babies and Children's Hospital is seeking an entry-level Respiratory Equipment Technician for current Respiratory Therapy students. The role involves cleaning, maintaining, and setting up respiratory equipment, as well as assisting the RT staff with non-clinical duties.

Responsibilities
Cleaning, Maintaining & Set up of all respiratory therapy equipment
Clean & sterilization of all non-disposable supplies
Stocks and maintains RT inventory in storeroom and in RT areas throughout the facility as needed
Assists the RT staff with any non-clinical duties
Performs other duties as assigned
Complies with all policies and standards
For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation
Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace
Qualification
Required
Current Respiratory Therapy student
Ability to clean, maintain, and set up all respiratory therapy equipment
Ability to clean and sterilize all non-disposable supplies
Ability to stock and maintain RT inventory in storeroom and in RT areas throughout the facility as needed
Ability to assist the RT staff with any non-clinical duties
Compliance with all policies and standards
Ability to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for patients
Willingness to perform other duties as assigned
