Responsibilities

Provide expert legal advice and guidance on a broad range of corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters, including fintech and crypto

Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts, including partnership, licensing, employment, and vendor agreements

Advise on compliance with US and international laws relevant to the gaming, finance, and technology sectors

Support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks

Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training to ensure ongoing compliance

Represent Xsolla in legal proceedings, regulatory inquiries, and negotiations as needed

Monitor changes in relevant legislation and assess impact on business operations

Mentor and provide guidance to junior legal team members

Qualification

Required

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; active membership in good standing with California state bar

Minimum 7 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in-house at a technology or gaming company, or at a top law firm

Deep knowledge of corporate, commercial, and regulatory law

Experience negotiating and drafting complex commercial agreements

Strong business acumen and ability to balance legal risk with business objectives

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently

High ethical standards and sound judgment

Experience with international legal matters and data privacy is a plus

Preferred

Strong understanding of Google Suite and Atlassian tools
