Responsibilities

Generating, maintaining, and verifying concise process planning work instructions for aircraft engines. Instructions are based on technical manuals provided by the manufacturer

Plans sequences for disassembly, cleaning, inspection, assembly, and testing functions

Ensuring that the work instructions are updated when the manufacturer revises the technical manuals

Ensuring that the work instructions are updated when other relevant documents are revised

Responding to concerns raised by technicians regarding the work instructions and resolving them

Additional miscellaneous duties associated with the position (i.e. staff meeting attendance, status and metric updates, supporting new incoming engine models, etc.)

Required

Mechanical background

Ability to read blueprints and part drawings

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required

Applicants must have experience in multi-tasking, planning, organizing, and problem solving

Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must

Work well in team environment with operations / quality / engineering / tooling personnel to provide accurate and clear work instructions

Preferred

Aviation experience a plus

Bachelor or Associates degree a plus

A&P License a plus
